Terms of Use

These Terms of Use govern access to and use of scan2test.com and related features, including uploading content, creating tests, taking tests, reviewing results, and downloading reports.

Acceptance of terms

By accessing or using Scan2Test, this agreement and the Privacy Policy and Disclaimer are accepted in full; if any part is not agreed with, the service must not be used.

Eligibility and age

The service is intended for individuals 18 years and older; minors may use it only with active parental or guardian supervision and consent, and by using the service the age requirement is represented and warranted as met.

Accounts and access

Where accounts are offered, login credentials must be safeguarded, account activity is the responsibility of the account holder, and prompt notice of any unauthorized use or security incident should be provided.

Permitted use

The site and tools are provided for lawful, educational, and practice-oriented purposes, including self-study, classroom practice, and exam preparation consistent with applicable policies.

Prohibited conduct

  • Cheating, misconduct, or use that violates school, exam, or institutional integrity policies is prohibited.
  • Uploading content that is unlawful, defamatory, infringing, obscene, or that contains sensitive personal data is not allowed.
  • Attempting to hack, disrupt, overload, scrape, or reverse-engineer the service, models, or underlying systems is prohibited.
  • Using bots, scrapers, or automated tools to access or extract data without written permission is not allowed.
  • Interfering with other users, spamming, distributing malware, or bypassing access controls is prohibited.

User content and uploads

Uploaded files, images, documents, or pasted text must be owned or properly licensed, free of confidential or sensitive personal information, and suitable for educational use.
A worldwide, non-exclusive, royalty-free license is granted to process uploads solely to operate, improve, and provide the service features (e.g., OCR, AI formatting, scoring, report generation).

Ownership and intellectual property

All platform content and software, including text, interfaces, features, design, and code, are owned by or licensed to the website owner and protected by intellectual property laws, with a limited, revocable, non-transferable license granted for personal, non-commercial use.
Any commercial use, redistribution, framing, or derivative works based on the service require prior written permission.

Educational use and academic integrity

Outputs, scores, and analytics are for practice and learning only and are not official assessments or certifications, and users must comply with all applicable exam and classroom policies.

AI/OCR processing and limitations

The platform uses OCR and AI to recognize text, detect question types, and generate answer keys and reports, and outputs may contain errors where scans are low quality or content is ambiguous.
Users should review and verify generated questions and answers before relying on them and use multiple sources for critical study topics.

Results, reports, and analytics

Instant scoring, correct answers, and downloadable PDF reports are provided as learning aids without guarantees of completeness, accuracy, or applicability to any official exam.

Feedback and suggestions

Voluntary feedback may be used to improve the service without any obligation to compensate, attribute, or implement, and no confidential information should be included in feedback.

Fees and payments

Features may be offered free or for a fee; where fees apply, separate pricing, payment, and refund terms will be presented and govern those transactions.

Third‑party links, resources, or advertisements may appear, which are not controlled or endorsed by the platform, and separate terms and privacy practices should be reviewed.
Transactions or interactions with third parties are solely between the user and those third parties.

Privacy and cookies

Use of the service is also governed by the Privacy Policy describing data collection, cookies, analytics, and security practices, and consent choices can be managed via available controls.

Service changes and availability

Features may be modified, suspended, or discontinued at any time, and uninterrupted or error-free operation is not guaranteed due to maintenance, updates, or network conditions.

Termination

Access may be suspended or terminated for violations of these terms, threats to security or integrity, legal requirements, or misuse, and some provisions survive termination, including IP, disclaimers, liability limits, and dispute terms.

Disclaimers

The service and all content are provided “as is” and “as available” without warranties of any kind, including implied warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, and non-infringement, to the extent permitted by law.

Limitation of liability

To the fullest extent permitted by law, the platform, owner, and service providers are not liable for indirect, incidental, consequential, special, or punitive damages arising from use or inability to use the service or reliance on outputs, and where liability cannot be excluded, it is limited to fees paid for the specific service giving rise to the claim, if any.

Indemnification

Users agree to indemnify and hold harmless the platform, owner, and affiliates from claims, losses, liabilities, damages, costs, and expenses (including reasonable attorney fees) arising from misuse, violation of these terms, or infringement of rights.

Governing law and jurisdiction

These Terms are governed by the laws of India, and courts in New Delhi, India shall have exclusive jurisdiction over disputes, subject to applicable conflict-of-law rules.

Dispute resolution

Parties agree to attempt good-faith resolution for 30 days after written notice of a dispute before filing formal proceedings, and may pursue mediation if direct negotiations fail.

Export and compliance

Users represent they are not prohibited from using the service under applicable sanctions, export, or trade laws and will not use the service for prohibited purposes.

Severability and waiver

If a provision is found unenforceable, the remaining provisions continue in effect, and failure to enforce a right is not a waiver of that right or any other provision.

Assignment

These Terms may be assigned or transferred in connection with a merger, acquisition, or asset sale, while users may not assign rights or obligations without prior written consent.

Entire agreement

These Terms, together with the Privacy Policy and Disclaimer, constitute the entire agreement regarding use of the service and supersede prior understandings on the subject matter.

Changes to these terms

These Terms may be updated to reflect changes to features, practices, or legal requirements, and the effective date indicates the latest revision; continued use after changes take effect constitutes acceptance.
